MITTY at Road Atlanta

One of my favorite races of the year is the Mitty at Road Atlanta. (I get to go to my fair share of races with Truechoice Motorsports) This is the HSR's Big event so it is always fun. People come from across the country to race at it because of it's reputation and of course the challenge of Road Atlanta. The Mitty is as much of a social event as it is a racing event. (the food is always good)

Just a touch of rain and everything is closed up tight

This years featured cars were the Group 44 cars... they had a nice display and the cars were in great shape

I guess they all had some sort of 44 theme plus the matching green paint

It was cool to see racing history on display and parading around

I took this for my daughter because she has a thing for pink race cars

A motorize bar stool with 2 seats and a trailer (In Ohio a Guy just got a DUI on one of these)

Sebring in the rain

Check this out... I met Thomas Bonatz at Road Atlanta last year when I was out there with the Truechoice Trailer. I really admired his ambition and determination. He is an inspiring young race car driver that is racing in the Skip-barber series. This is video of Thomas racing at Sebring in the RAIN. I think this is a cool video because of all the rain. I can't imagine being in an open car at high speed because I hate driving my street car in the rain.

Svra ends season at Road Atlanta

Wow... It's hard to believe that this season with SVRA is over. It was a chilly weekend in Atlanta but as always it was great racing. I am excited about taking the Truechoice trailer to the 2009 events already.
